Amy Ruck wife of Laurence Ruck from Ospringe.
The burial of Amy Ruck causes some consternation as the parish register described her, quite clearly, as being the "wife" of Laurence. However, the Archdeacon's Transcript describes Amy as have been the "widow" of Laurence upon her burial. The Bishop's Transcript is silent on this point. The problem relates directly to the identification of the correct date of burial of Laurence Ruck, her husband. There are two further burials at Preston-Faversham of Laurence Ruck: one during 1747 and the other during 1764.
