From this document it appears that John Hamon is confirmed as father of Thomas Hammond, Esq. It also infers that John Hamon is deceased as of 14 April 1548. Lastly, it reveals that the lands held by John Hamon were based in Goodnestone-next-Sandwich and that perhaps that is the parish of origin of the family.
