      Charlotte Hodges and Joseph Ruck, he of this parish a carpenter for a child, a boy born 10 May 1824 at Wheeler Street. Joseph Ruck settled with the parish on 20 Oct 1824 by way of private order the father to pay 2 shillings per week and the mother 6 pence per week for the maintenance of the child.

      Sarah Underdown and Joseph Ruck, he of this parish a carpenter for a child, a boy born 1 May 1825. Joseph Ruck settled with the parish on 29 Aug 1825 by way of compromise whereby Joseph Ruck paid GB35 for the child. Notation: died November 1828 see folio 49 in cash book.
      Unfortunately, the notation of death does not specify if it was the child or Joseph Ruck who died during November of 1828.
