William, the third Son of Thomas Chichele was a Citizen of London, and of the same Trade with his Brother Sir Robert. He was Sheriff in the Year 1410, and afterwards an Alderman. He died in the Year 1425, and by his Will, dated at Stanwell the 9th of May in the same Year, he orders his Body to be buried in our Lady's Chapel in the Parish Church of Higham-Ferrers, close to his Father and Mother. He married Beatrice the Daughter of William Barret, Esq; by whom he had Issue two Sons and two Daughters, William and John, Florence and Agnes.
