Inasmuch as there were no other Stiker men identified as having the name William up to the time of this tax assessment in 1556 and there appears two William Stikers on the assessment described as "the elder" and "Junior". Furthermore, in order to have a "junior" the father must have also been name with the same given name. Accordingly, as William Stiker who is believed to have been born circa 1534 to an unnamed father, then it must follow that his father's name was also William.
