One thousand eight hundred and nine December 7th IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN, I, ARCHLEY ANDREWS, of the Parish of Challock, in the County of Kent, labourer, being in perfect health of body and mind, that is to say,
Principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul to the almighty God that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a decent Christin burial at the discretion of my Executors
And touching such effects and money which it has pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give, demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form,
First, I leave JOHN OTTAWAY AND JUDY his wife of the parish of Challock to home likewise constitute, make and ordain the sole Executors of my last Will and Testament and pay to my wife ELIZABETH ANDREWS the sum of seven shilling for week of good and lawful money and find her in house room and atendence that is necessary as long as she lives
Also, I give one hundred pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain to HENRY ANDREWS, Senior of Wye,
Also, forty pounds of good and lawful money to JOHN DODD of Westwell
Also, ten pounds of good and lawful money to ARCHLEY ANDREWS of Wye and if either I, ARCHLEY ANDREWS of the parish of Challock or wife should die within two years from the daate aforesaid it is to be twenty pounds.
And my Executors JOHN and JUDY OTTAWAY to pay the money twelve calendar months after the death of the last dessees [sic: deceased] and if any lost should happen the lost to be divided in poposhors [sic: proportions] to the sums giving to each party.
Also there shall be no demands made for any notes of hand or bills that have transferred before this date above betwixt HENRY ANDREWS or JOHN DODD and ARCHLEY ANDREWS of Challock.

THE before registered Will of ARCHLEY ANDREWS deceased was proved the thirtieth day of November, 1811 before the Reverence John Francis, Clerk, Surrogate to the Right Honorable Sir William Scott, Knight, Doctor of Laws, Vicar General to his Grace Charles by Divine Providence, Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of all England and Metropolitan lawfully constituted by the oath of JOHN OTTAWAY one of Executors named in the said Will he being first sworn well and truly to perform the same. Power reserved to JUDY OTTAWAY his wife the daughter of the Testator when ever she should apply for the same.
