      WREIGHT'S CHARITY
      A subscription list has been opened at Mr. Rook's, in aid of the widow and five children of the late Henry Bodeker, who recently came to so sad an end. Mrs. bodeker and her family are left quite destitute, and the object of the subscription is to provide for her present wants, and to establish her in a small way of business, by which she may obtain a livelihood for herself and children.

      George's occupation was recorded as being a 'labourer' and his wife's name was recorded as 'Sarah' rather than Ann. Yet, there are no other entries for George and Sarah Hodges at Maidstone.
