The one and twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord 1659, I, THOMAS MILSTED, of Bethersden in the County of Kent, being in indifferent good health of body and of good and perfect mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
Firstly, I give and bequeath unto ANNE my well beloved wife the sum of four and ------ pounds of good and lawful money of England to be paid to her by my Executor hereafter named, within one whole year next after my deceased.
Item, I give unto the said ANNE my wife her dwelling in my now dwelling house for and during one whole year next after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto RICHARD RICHARDSON, my son in law, twelve pounds of lawful English money to be paid to him within one month next after my decease.
Item, I give and bequeath unto MARY RICHARDSON my grandchild, daughter of the aforesaid RICHARD RICHARDSON, thirty pounds of lawful English money to be paid unto her at her age of one and twenty years or at her day of marriage whichsoever shall first happen.
Item, I give and bequeath unto ANNE CHAPLON and ELIZABETH CHAPLON my daughters in law, five shillings of lawful English money to be paid to either of them within one whole year next after my decease.
Item, all other my goods and chattels whatsoever not before bequeathed in this my present Will, my debts, legacies and funeral expenses being discharged, I give unto THOMAS MILSTED my son whom I make, ordain and appoint to be my full and sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written, 1659.

Information concerning the structure of the family of this Thomas has been drawn from relationships and names stated in the Wills of his brother, John Milstead who died during 1629, as well as from his own Will drawn during 1659.
