Notes |
- The existence of children belonging to John is taken from the Will of his brother, Simon written in 1628. That Will provides bequests to "four children of my nephew John" with the only child named being "William son of John". However, in the Will of John Rucke of Sheldwich, brother of this mentioned Simon Rucke, also mentions the same nephew John as being the son of their brother William and John having a son named William and two daughters named Margaret and Thomsyn leaving only one child of the four unnamed.
