George Heed, Ballston Spa, dead at 71 Ballston Spa - George B. Heed, 71, of East Line road, died Wednesday morning at the Benedict Memorial Hospital. He was a former resident of Fort Edward and had operated a restaurant there. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Ballston Spa, and of the Fort Edward Masonic Lodge. The furneral service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Forst Edward Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the Union cemetery. Fort Edward, The Wright funeral home, 19 East street, Fort Edward, will be open today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Heed; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Burnt Hills; a son, Edward Heed, Fort Edward; astepson Frank Williams, Ballston Spa; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Della Porta, Saratoga Springs, and five grandchildren.
