St. Paul CraySt. Paul's Cray is, ecclesiastically, in the diocese of Canterbury, in the archdeaconry of Canterbury and in the deanery of Dartford. The church was named for St. Paulinus with registers commencing 1580. The church, located on Main Road northeast of the post office, is modernly known as The Redeemed Christian Church of God. St. Paul's Cray, a parish in Bromley district, Kent; on the rivulet Cray, 3/4 of a mile north-north-east of St. Mary Cray rail station, and 4-1/2 miles east of Bromley. It has a post office under St. Paul Cray, London, S.E.. Acres, 1,651. Real property in 1860, £3,556. Population in 1861, 532. Houses, 102. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury. Value, £483 with a habitable glebe house. Patron, Viscount Sydney. The church is Norman and early English; and its chancel was lately restored.
