Eastling
Eastling is, ecclesiastically, in the diocese of Canterbury, in the archdeaconry of Canterbury and in the deanery of Ospringe. The church is named for St. Mary with registers commencing 1558.
Eastling, a parish in Faversham district, Kent; 4-1/4 miles southwest of Faversham town and rail station. It has a post office under Faversham. Acres, 1,915. Real property in 1860, £2,897. Population, 399. Houses, 87. The property is divided among a few.
The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury. Value, £500 with a habitable glebe house. Patron, the Earl of Winchelsea. The church is good. Charities, £7.
